We collect personal data when you place an order, make an enquiry, book a consultation, contact us by email or telephone, or browse 88Facets.com.

Identity & contact data

Name, email address, telephone number, delivery address, and billing address. Collected when you place an order, submit a quote request, or book a consultation.

Order & transaction data

Details of products purchased or enquired about, order history, and payment confirmation references. Payment card details are processed by Shopify Payments and are never stored by us.

Consultation & preference data

Information shared during bespoke consultations — design preferences, stone preferences, budget range, ring size, and any images or reference material you provide.

Technical & usage data

IP address, browser type, pages visited, time on site, and device type. Collected automatically via cookies, Google Analytics, and Meta Pixel when you browse 88Facets.com.

Communications data

The content of emails, telephone calls, and messages you send us. Retained for the duration of our relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter.

Marketing preferences

Whether you have opted in to receive our journal or marketing emails, and any changes to those preferences. We only send marketing communications where you have given explicit consent.

6. Data retention

How long we keep your data

Order and transaction records — retained for 10 years from the date of purchase, in accordance with Latvian accounting and tax law (Grāmatvedības likums).

Commission and consultation records — retained for the duration of our service relationship plus 5 years, to support warranty claims, repairs, and resizing requests.

Marketing preferences and communications — retained until you withdraw consent or request deletion, plus a reasonable administrative period thereafter.

Analytics data — retained in accordance with Google Analytics and Meta's standard data retention settings, typically 14 months. You may opt out at any time via our cookie settings on 88Facets.com.
